Asian Handicap Betting

Asian handicap gives one team a virtual head start (or deficit) in goals. A -0.5 handicap on the home team means they must win for the bet to win.

Half-goal lines (-0.5, +0.5, -1.5) eliminate the draw outcome entirely. Quarter-goal lines split your stake between two adjacent handicaps.

Handicaps are useful when a strong favourite has very short 1X2 odds — the handicap market offers better prices on the same outcome.
